Highly palatable, protein-rich tropical legume for grazing and hay production.
V8® stylo thrives in warm climates (23–27°C) and high-rainfall or irrigated areas. Ideal for both grazing and fodder production, it offers excellent feed quality (12–20% crude protein) and strong 2,4-D herbicide tolerance. Performs well in light to medium, acidic, and periodically waterlogged soils.
Key Features:
- High-protein, fine-stemmed legume—ideal for silage, hay, or mixed pastures
- Productive: 5–10 t DM/ha/yr (up to 20 t in fertile conditions)
- Sowing rate: 4–6 kg/ha (sole), 2–4 kg/ha (mix)
- Tolerates pH 4–8, high Al & Mn, low P soils
- Rotational grazing: 1 week on / 4–8 weeks off
